nini aisawa (Hibiya Design) is pleased to announce the exhibition “Great Yokai Pandemonium - Daihyakki Yagyo: Aizawa Nini's Specter Picture Scroll” at Design Festa Gallery Harajuku in Harajuku, Tokyo, starting on August 2, 2025.
This exhibition will mark the 10th anniversary of the series this summer, and will also commemorate the completion of over 100 full-scale yokai illustrations.
The “Japanese Yokai Series” has sold a cumulative total of more than 30,000 units at Nakano Broadway-based gacha vending machines and other locations.
The “Useful Yokai LINE Stamp” has been a hit, with a cumulative total of over 5,000 downloads.
In addition to the latest 41 newly-drawn yokai, we will also distribute a new art book of yokai, which will be shown for the first time at the exhibition.
As a sample of the book, visitors can enjoy an exhibition of more than 100 yokai picture scrolls displayed on the walls.
In addition, we will offer a variety of original goods such as Japanese paper-style stickers, teacups, and tenugui towels so that you can enjoy the world of our works even more.
Points to enjoy
☆A photo spot will be set up in a part of the exhibition space, where you can take a picture as a yokai.
Try your luck with a total of 100 kinds of yokai! Even very rare yokai! Specter Can Magnet Gacha will be in operation.
You can vote for your favorite yokai with stickers. The top 5 yokai will be made into original goods at a later date.
Special novelties will be given to those who purchase the exhibits or cooperate with the voting!
Please experience a new form of expression that resonates with the city of Harajuku.
